QST, QST, QST, this is W7PSE, my name is [your name/call sign], acting as your Net Control and calling for the Puget Sound Energy Amateur Radio Emergency Services Net, also known as the PSE ARES net. This net meets here every Tuesday at 12:30PM on the Puget Sound Energy W7PSE linked repeater system using frequencies of 441.775, 441.750, 441.725 and 441.700 megahertz with a PL tone of 103.5 hertz. In the event of a repeater link failure, we will use the Rattlesnake Ridge repeater, at 441.775 megahertz. [Pause here, release the mic key and wait for the repeater to release].

The purpose of this net is to verify the working condition of radio equipment, practice radio communication skills and, to provide a point of contact for information sharing with members of the PSE ARES Team.

This is a directed net. Please use your full call sign for recognition by Net Control. Please notify Net Control if you need to be excused prior to conclusion of the net. Stations with emergency or priority traffic may break in at any time. Visiting Stations will be asked to check in after the team members.
